This is a list of all releases of Horse and the new features added, changes made, bugs fixed, and features removed from them.

v0.71.1

Horse has grown to over 1,000 users! Thanks to our Community Discord for reporting and providing reproducable instructions on these bugs, it makes it a breeze to fix.

• Fixed Sidebar can be expanded and collapsed with the keyboard shortcut again
• Fixed The updater no longer throws an error when there's isn't a significant error
• Fixed When displaying an error page, don't update the title of the trail
• Fixed Using the keyboard shortcut to reload a domain after an error has occurred now works
• Fixed Websites using about:blank to open a new tab now work again
• Fixed Websites with misconfigured certificates now redirect to the correct domain instead of showing an error
• Fixed In some complex cases, trails could only be dragged to the top of another trail

v0.71.0

This New Year’s update focuses on strengthening Horse’s foundations. After a year of rapid shipping in response to user requests (once even within 5 minutes!), Horse had accumulated significant technical debt. This update addresses all of that and is by far the largest update ever—with 78% of the codebase rewritten. While the changes may not look too different on the surface, this overhaul paves the way for bigger features you’ve been asking for in the coming year.

• Added Select multiple Trails at once to create folders, export, or delete them together
• Added New shortcut (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+W) to delete a Trail and all its Subtrails at once
• Added Drag window from the top even when toolbar is hidden
• Added Mute any Trail's audio by clicking its sound icon
• Added Option to turn off the 3D Horse animation if you prefer simpler visuals
• Added Sidebar automatically scrolls to show matching Trail when you click a link
• Added Fine-grained controls for allowing websites to use your camera, microphone and other features

• Added Collapsing / Expanding Trails is animated
• Added Additional search engines; Perplexity, Startpage, Swisscows, MetaGer, Searx, and Gigablast.

• Fixed 'Save' and 'Go' buttons now work in new Trails
